Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Valentin Adamovic (ranked 1058 p4p, 2024 weight class) and Kron Gracie (ranked 125 p4p, 228 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Valentin Adamovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kron Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamovic feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gracies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Adamovic moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.
Gracie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie takes a swing at Adamovic's ribcage but misses.
As Gracie tries to get set, Adamovic tries to push him back and clinch up but Gracie manages to avoid the attempt.
Adamovic lands a glancing blow to the side of Gracie's head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gracie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Gracie loads up on a big right hand but Adamovic slips the punch.
Gracie cracks Adamovic with an open hand slap.
A jab from Adamovic finds it's way through Gracie's defenses.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adamovic pinned against the cage. Adamovic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Adamovic tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gracie manages to circle out of the way.
Gracie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Adamovic.
Adamovic seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Adamovic tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gracie gets a takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Adamovic trying to control from the bottom.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Adamovic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gracie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Adamovic defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - Adamovic is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kron Gracie!
Our winner, Kron Gracie, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
