Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Baroza (ranked 2462 p4p, 2344 weight class) and Vincent Duboulay (ranked 184 p4p, 176 weight class). Duboulay has chosen The Fire as his entrance music. Jorge Baroza could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vincent Duboulay's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vincent Duboulay!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baroza stuffs the takedown.
Duboulay's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Duboulay's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Baroza avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Baroza stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Baroza stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Baroza wants it to stay on the feet.
Duboulay fails with the takedown.
Baroza definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jorge Baroza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincent Duboulay.
Duboulay changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baroza tries to avoid it but Duboulay manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baroza to the ground. Baroza escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Duboulay drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Duboulay shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Baroza defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Baroza wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Duboulay fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Duboulay displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Baroza throws out the jab.
Duboulay seems to have recovered his senses.

Duboulay walks forward, straight into a front kick from Baroza.
Baroza fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Baroza lands a jab to the nose.
Duboulay shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baroza as he jumps to the side.
Nice shot lands for Baroza.

Baroza cracks Duboulay with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Baroza has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Duboulay to stand back up!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
