Schotel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cao swivels and escapes.
Cao feinted with a counter takedown.
Schotel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cao 's waist but Cao gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Schotel off to one side.
Cao appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Cao shoots in but Schotel avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Shun Cao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dodge Schotel.
Schotel dives in for a single leg takedown but Cao sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.

My spies in Freddy\'s Grappling Institute inform me that Schotel has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
