The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Smith.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kurosaki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kurosaki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kurosaki.
Smith misses with a kick to the body.

Smith rushes Kurosaki and presses him up against the ropes.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Kurosaki misses with a punch to the body.
Smith lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Kurosaki swings wildly with an uppercut but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.

Smith lands an elbow that stopped Kurosaki in his tracks for a moment.
Smith is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Kurosaki lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Smith or not.
Kurosaki throws a punch but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith trying to control the position but instead, Kurosaki has worked for underhooks and has pushed Smith into the ropes.

Kurosaki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kenny Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurosaki lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smith smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kurosaki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Smith paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Smith fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kurosaki looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Smith misses with a straight left.
Kurosaki throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Kurosaki takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Smith closes the distance and pushes Kurosaki back into the ropes.
Kurosaki is pushing Smith up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Kurosaki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Smith misses with a punch on the inside.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Kenny Smith will probably get the nod.

Smith throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kurosaki on the side of the head.

Kurosaki is rocked!
Kurosaki drops his guard momentarily, allowing Smith to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Kurosaki! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Smith takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Kenny Smith!

Our winner, Kenny Smith, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
