PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mr Necro (ranked 4603 p4p, 4788 weight class) and Chain Gables (ranked 286 p4p, 291 weight class). Chain Gables struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gables will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Necro appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Necro throws a leg kick

and Gables decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Necro's guard.
Gables looking to pass the guard.
Gables slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Gables trying to stand up but can't free himself from Necro's guard.
Necro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gables slips nicely into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gables seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Necro is looking to improve his position.

Necro is staying active underneath Gables, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Gables passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Necro!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Necro bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Gables is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Necro wants to control from the top but Gables keeps moving.
Gables is pulling down on Necro's head. It's preventing any offense from Necro, at least for the moment.

Gables is looking to cinch up a triangle. Necro throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gables's body to avoid the submission. Gables has instead reached around Necro's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gables arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
