Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Bolt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 25 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolt pushes Lewis up against the cage in a clinch.
Bolt scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Bolt tightens his grip and picks Lewis up, before dumping him to the ground. Lewis manages to land in guard.
Lewis working for a triangle but Bolt defends it easily.
Bolt landing some decent shots from guard.
Bolt landing with the ground and pound.
Bolt stands and throws Lewis's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bolt just content to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bolt advances to mount.
Bolt looking to finish Lewis with some ground and pound. This is bad for Lewis!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis is looking to get to half guard.
Bolt controlling the pace for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lewis can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bolt cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bolt has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lewis's face.
Bolt landing strikes, looking to finish!
Lewis is rocked!
Lewis in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Lewis is still in real trouble! Can Bolt finish him?
Lewis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bolt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Bolt! Lewis is hurt baaadly! Bolt is firing away with more strikes - Lewis is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Bolt!
