The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fright throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Verse's waist but Verse gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fright off to one side.
Verse is looking to counter the offense by Fright and move into the clinch.

Fright is nestled in close to Verse, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fright is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Verse wants to get back to full guard.
Fright has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Verse pushes Fright off looking to stand but Fright dives back in and keeps control.
Oh Verse is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Verse is breathing heavily.
Fright perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Fright working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
