Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dahmer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pearson manages to avoid it.
Pearson fails with a takedown attempt.
Pearson tries to clinch up but Dahmer circles away and keeps his distance.
Pearson throws a shot from downtown. Dahmer moves away and avoids it.

Dahmer looking to score a takedown here. Pearson is defending well but Dahmer drives through and ends up in Pearson's guard.
Pearson is wriggling around but Dahmer manages to pass to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pearson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pearson tries to get out of the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dahmer thows a huge punch but Pearson dodges it nicely.

Pearson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dahmer on the ground.

Dahmer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dahmer throws an elbow but it misses.
Pearson tries to score a body lock takedown but Dahmer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Pearson is trying to stall.
Dahmer tries to break free but Pearson pushes him back against the cage.

Pearson wants to break the clinch but can't.

Dahmer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pearson walks away with a smile on his face. Dahmer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Pearson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Dahmer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pearson is looking to escape.
Dahmer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Pearson has left one of his arms exposed and Dahmer doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pearson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
