Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chief Walker (ranked 1733 p4p, 2246 weight class) and Yoji Anjo Anjo (ranked 219 p4p, 262 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 34 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yoji Anjo Anjo!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Anjo counters with a nice uppercut.
A jab from Walker misses.
Walker misses the jab.
Anjo wants to counter the offense by Walker and move into the clinch position.
Walker drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Anjo manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Walker.
Anjo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Anjo is trying to pull guard but Walker turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anjo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Walker fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Anjo misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Walker.
Walker throws a punch but it's blocked by Anjo.

Anjo shoots in and drives through. Walker sprawls well.

Anjo drops his hands momentarily and Walker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Yoji Anjo Anjo has been cut.
Anjo shoots in looking for a takedown but Walker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Anjo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Anjo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Anjo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Anjo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Walker makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Walker stands up and beckons Anjo to his feet.

Anjo slips under a jab.
Walker looks to land a left hand but Anjo moved out of range nicely.

and Anjo counters with a three punch combo that has Walker backing up. Walker nods at Anjo to acknowledge the strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Anjo enables Walker to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Anjo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Anjo kicks Walker off and gets to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Walker scores with a decent looking hook.
Anjo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Anjo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Walker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Walker is trying to stand up here but Anjo is controlling him well.
Walker kicks Anjo off and gets back to his feet.
Walker throws a big shot that misses.
Walker misses with a hook. Anjo ducked under it nicely.
Anjo throws a leg kick but Walker sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Walker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Anjo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Walker.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Walker closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A solid leg kick lands there for Walker.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Chief Walker dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Yoji Anjo Anjo's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
No luck for Anjo with that takedown attempt.
Anjo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Walker pinned against the cage. Walker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Anjo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Walker defends well and Anjo ends up having to push Walker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Walker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Anjo can do to turn this around?

Walker circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Anjo to the canvas! Anjo doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Walker keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chief Walker!
A relieved looking Chief Walker thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
