Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarrod Beard (ranked 150 p4p, 23 weight class) and Ahjo Kuomanen (ranked 10 p4p, 3 weight class). Beard's entrance music is Ladies Love Country Boys - Trace Adkins. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kuomanen's choice of entrance music: HonestKey - One Shot. Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ahjo Kuomanen!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuomanen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kuomanen showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beard is looking to control Kuomanen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Beard avoid being mounted?
Kuomanen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Beard defends it well.
Kuomanen is keen to just control but Beard is a slippery customer.
Beard wants to improve his position but Kuomanen is controlling well.

Kuomanen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Beard looking to improve position, pressing down on Kuomanen's thigh with his hand. Kuomanen seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Beard paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Beard's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Kuomanen picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
