Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Serwacy Smolarek (ranked 725 p4p, 2609 weight class) and Dave Zaroni (ranked 103 p4p, 284 weight class). Smolarek kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is No Easy Way Out. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Serwacy Smolarek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Zaroni!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaroni on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Zaroni turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Zaroni throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Zaroni goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Zaroni throws a leg kick
and Smolarek counters with a straight right hand.
Zaroni moves out of range as Smolarek strikes.
Smolarek swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Zaroni misses with a looping right.
Zaroni avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smolarek takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Smolarek uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zaroni has time to react.
Smolarek throws a jab when Zaroni was well out of range.
Zaroni appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Smolarek rushes Zaroni and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Zaroni is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Smolarek piles on the pressure and Zaroni crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
