Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teofomo Laurez (ranked 1973 p4p, 2170 weight class) and Callum McCewen (ranked 229 p4p, 248 weight class). McCewen has chosen Highway to Hell - AC/DC as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Teofomo Laurez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Callum McCewen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Callum McCewen!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCewen is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
McCewen looks to land a left hand but Laurez moved out of range nicely.
McCewen throws a right and a left that Laurez avoids nicely.
We've been informed that McCewen has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

It looked like Laurez was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from McCewen.

Laurez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McCewen is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Laurez ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent McCewen clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
