Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antti Kokko (ranked 2568 p4p, 2327 weight class) and Larry LeFell (ranked 292 p4p, 259 weight class). The key to victory for Antti Kokko has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeFell misses with a takedown attempt
and Kokko counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Larry LeFell has been cut.

LeFell darts in and clinches Kokko up against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that LeFell has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kokko working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Kokko scores with a nice hook to the head.
LeFell goes for a takedown attempt but Kokko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kokko definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Antti Kokko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry LeFell.

Kokko closes the distance and clinches.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kokko scores with a shoulder strike.
LeFell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kokko walks away with a smile on his face. LeFell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
LeFell walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Kokko scores with a counter punch that sends LeFell to the canvas! Kokko smells blood - he's punishing LeFell with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! LeFell has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
