Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fyodor Magomedov (ranked 3984 p4p, 4138 weight class) and Tobias Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fyodor Magomedov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tobias Pereira!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Pereira manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Magomedov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pereira smiles and moves away.

Pereira wriggles free and stands up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pereira throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Magomedov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pereira is in Magomedov's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pereira is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Magomedov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pereira pinned against the cage. Pereira gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pereira has Magomedov up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pereira makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Magomedov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pereira is trying to defend but Magomedov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magomedov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pereira manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Magomedov has Pereira in his guard.

I really don't envy Magomedov right now.

Tobias Pereira comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pereira has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
