The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Ellis.
Taylor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ellis tries to avoid it but Taylor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ellis to the ground. Ellis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ellis goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Nice defenses there by Taylor.
Ellis bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Taylor! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
It looks like Nick Taylor has been cut.
Taylor trying to keep a closed guard but Ellis is proving a slippery customer.
Taylor is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ellis throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Taylor's body to avoid the submission. Taylor has instead reached around Ellis's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Taylor arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
