The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pep throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hill.
Hill lands a nice looking body shot.
Pep pushes Hill away with a front kick.
Pep rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hill moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pep lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pep.
Hill fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hill tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hill throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A solid body kick from Pep.
Hill throws a shot from downtown. Pep moves away and avoids it.
Pep cracks Hill with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hill throws a low kick but Pep avoids it.
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pep swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pep connects with a single shot there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bret Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pep bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Pep lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Hill falls backwards - clearly groggy! Pep dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
