The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCracken looks for a takedown but Gracie sprawls well.
Gracie misses with a takedown

and McCracken counters by moving into the clinch.
Gracie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McCracken gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Gracie goes for a takedown in the clinch but McCracken prevents it.

McCracken breaks from the clinch.
McCracken changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but McCracken manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mahammed Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
