The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petritis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Barton.
Petritis connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Stephen Barton has been cut.
Petros Petritis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petritis lands a nice shot that snaps Barton's head back.
Barton takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nice uppercut lands for Petritis. That snapped Barton's head back.
Barton misses with a body kick.
Petritis throws a nice looking combination but Barton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Petritis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Petritis tests Barton's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That has opened up Stephen Barton's cut even more.
Barton shoots in for a takedown but Petritis shows good takedown defense.
No luck for Barton with that takedown attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Petritis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Barton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nice straight punches there by Petritis. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Petritis.
Petritis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Petritis thuds a left hand into Barton's body.
Petritis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Barton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Petritis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barton somewhat.
Petros Petritis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Barton.

A big left from Barton misses.
Barton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Petritis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Petritis works the jab nicely.
Petritis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The cut above Stephen Barton's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Petritis throws out a powerful jab.

Barton is rocked!
Petritis is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Nice uppercut lands for Petritis. That snapped Barton's head back.
Barton is still on wobbly legs! Can Petritis finish him?

Stephen Barton's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Petritis drops Barton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Barton looks back up at him and smiles so Petritis waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barton shoots for a takedown but Petritis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Barton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Barton seems to have recovered his senses.
Petritis misses with an uppercut. Barton saw that one coming.

Oooooh!!! Petritis has knocked Barton down with a huge combo! Petritis steps away and waves a wobbly Barton back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Stephen Barton's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
