Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giang Hao (ranked 3616 p4p, 25291 weight class) and Mamed Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Giang Hao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mamed Khalidov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hao wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Khalidov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hao.
A big right from Hao misses.
Hao misses with the combination.
A countering left hand to the body from Khalidov misses.
Khalidov misses with a takedown
and Hao connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hao throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Khalidov on the side of the head.
It looks like Mamed Khalidov has been cut.

Khalidov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hao pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Hao lands a right hand.

Hao lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Khalidov.

Khalidov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Khalidov misses with a knee strike.
Hao lands a right hand that snaps the head of Khalidov backwards.
Khalidov is rocked!
Hao lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Khalidov to his knees! Hao keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Giang Hao!
Giang Hao spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
