Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hawaiano Loco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawaiano Loco will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loco tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gracie swivels and escapes.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Loco counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Loco throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease.
Loco misses with a takedown

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Loco won't be happy with that.
Gracie gets to mount! Loco was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Loco keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Loco is wriggling around trying to escape.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gracie prevents Loco from getting the reversal.

Loco is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie controlling the pace for now.
Loco really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Loco misses with a takedown attempt

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Loco throws a strike from the bottom but Gracie passes into side control!

Loco tries to bench press Gracie off him but Gracie keeps the position.

Loco looking for a sweep but Gracie has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Gracie prevents Loco from getting the reversal.
Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Loco slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Gracie works his way into side control.

Gracie gets to mount! Loco was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Loco is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Loco regains half guard.

Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Loco is looking to get back to full guard here but Gracie has managed to pass to side control instead.

That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Loco regains half guard.

Loco looking for submissions off his back.
Loco tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.

Loco is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard.
Gracie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Loco strikes from the bottom but Gracie uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Loco tries to improve position but can't.
Loco is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gracie off and has taken his back!

Loco is working for a rear naked choke. Gracie is not defending it well and Loco has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Gracie refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Gracie's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
