The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Walker is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looks like Zdravko Mihaijlovic has been cut.

Mihaijlovic throws a low kick, looking for Walker's leg but Walker calmly moves out of range.
Mihaijlovic avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mihaijlovic takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A telegraphed right hand from Walker misses the target.
Mihaijlovic fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Walker lands a glancing blow to the side of Mihaijlovic's head.
Walker looks to land a left hand but Mihaijlovic moved out of range nicely.

Alistair Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Walker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mihaijlovic.
Walker throws a big shot that misses.
Walker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walker throws a jab but it's blocked by Mihaijlovic.
Mihaijlovic let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

A nice side step and Mihaijlovic releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Walker throws an overhand right that lands on Mihaijlovic's shoulder, as Mihaijlovic tries to avoid the shot.

Mihaijlovic throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A slow jab from Walker misses its intended target.
Walker misses with a straight left.
Walker is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Walker lands with an uppercut that bounces Mihaijlovic off the cage and back into range.
Mihaijlovic scores with a punch to the head.
Mihaijlovic digs a good body shot into Walker's ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mihaijlovic lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Walker is rocked!
