The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams misses with a looping left.
Caceres changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Caceres tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Adams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Adams is looking to counter punch.
Caceres fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Caceres throws a right and a left that Adams avoids nicely.

Caceres tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Caceres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Adams seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
