The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.
Jones goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Steele staying out of range there.
Jones takes a shot to the body in his stride.

and Steele counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Steele avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Steele moves into range and clinches up with Jones.
Jones misses with an elbow strike.
Steele presses Jones against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Jones tries to work over Steele's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Steele works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Steele lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Steele blocks an elbow strike from Jones.
Steele takes an elbow to the temple.
Steele avoids a wild elbow strike from Jones.
Steele lands a nice uppercut.

Steele dips a shoulder and cracks Jones with a mighty uppercut! Jones falls back against the cage and Steele unloads with a barrage of strikes! Jones is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Steele screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
