Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thoupos blocks a jab.
Thoupos counters with a body kick.
Wick buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Thoupos tries a head kick but it misses.
As Thoupos tries to get set, Wick tries to push him back and clinch up but Thoupos manages to avoid the attempt.
Thoupos scores with a punch to the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thoupos has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

A solid leg kick lands there for Wick.

Thoupos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thoupos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Thoupos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wick ducks into an uppercut from Thoupos and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Kane Thoupos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
