Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tico Tico (ranked 1237 p4p, 2159 weight class) and Aleksander Kazimierz (ranked 101 p4p, 163 weight class). Tico kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Paco De Lucia - Tico Tico . Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 36 - 2, fighting out of London, Aleksander Kazimierz!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazimierz takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Tico has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Crunch! Tico slams his shin into Kazimierz's torso.
Tico lands a nice hook to Kazimierz's body. Kazimierz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kazimierz tries to close the distance and clinch but Tico swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tico paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and Tico counters with a straight right hand.
Kazimierz moves into range and clinches up with Tico.
Kazimierz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kazimierz is looking to clinch but Tico is avoiding it.
Tico appears to be looking for a big counter.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Kazimierz tries a head kick but it misses.
Tico explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kazimierz slips a jab and a cross from Tico.

and Tico counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kazimierz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tico pinned against the cage. Tico gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kazimierz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tico.
Tico Tico is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tico lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kazimierz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kazimierz scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kazimierz moves in looking to clinch but Tico pushes him off.

Tico has Kazimierz pressed against the cage, preventing Kazimierz from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

With the fighters up against the cage, Tico throws an elbow but misses.
Tico cracks Kazimierz with a nice body shot.

Tico lands a right hand.

Tico works on Kazimierz's body with a couple of short punches.
Tico lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kazimierz tries to throw a body punch but Tico avoids it by throwing Kazimierz back against the cage.
Tico lands a left hand.
Kazimierz jumps guard but Tico turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Tico scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Nice body punch from Tico.
Tico lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Kazimierz is trying to force a seperation but Tico has the dominant position.
Tico escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tico throws a body punch but Kazimierz moves out of range.
Tico wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tico displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kazimierz.
Kazimierz tries to close the distance and clinch but Tico swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tico bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tico is looking to wear down Kazimierz with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kazimierz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tico swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kazimierz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kazimierz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Tico counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kazimierz's knee momentarily.

A quick step to the side and Tico tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tico might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kazimierz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tico's head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tico Tico dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tico scores with a jab. Kazimierz acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tico misses with the combination.
Tico avoids the head kick by Kazimierz.
Kazimierz moves in looking to clinch but Tico pushes him off.
Tico throws a body shot but no joy.
Kazimierz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tico as he avoids it easily.
Aleksander Kazimierz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tico swings for the body but Kazimierz moves out of range.
A right-left combo lands from Tico.
It looks like Aleksander Kazimierz has been cut.
Tico bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kazimierz's head.
Kazimierz is rocked!
Kazimierz is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Tico just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Kazimierz has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tico Tico!
In his post fight interview, Tico Tico started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
