Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Dubbs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Lint!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lint gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lint can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dubbs controls the pace.
Dubbs preventing the sweep.
Dubbs slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Dubbs tries to free his leg and advance position but Lint is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dubbs postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Lint not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lint keeping full guard, as Dubbs tries to pass.
Dubbs throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lint tries for a takedown but Dubbs circles away easily

and Dubbs counters with a single leg into guard. Lint didn't expect that.
Dubbs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dubbs is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lint doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Dubbs content to stall in guard here.
Lint keeping full guard, as Dubbs tries to pass.

Dubbs thows a big elbow that misses.
Dubbs won't allow Lint to get back to his feet.
Lint looking to control.

Lint has his foot on Dubbs's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dubbs works his way back into a safe position though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Dubbs doesn't manage to clinch there - Lint circles away.
Dubbs closes the distance and clinches up with Lint, looking for a takedown. Dubbs pushes Lint against the cage but Lint circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lint fails with the takedown

and Dubbs counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lint!
Lint looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dubbs lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Dubbs lands a nice shot to the head.

Dubbs stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Dubbs shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dubbs showed some decent athleticism there.
Lint is trying to get back to full guard.
Lint wants to get back to his feet.
Lint really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dubbs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dubbs is working for a submission of some sort.
Lint is trying to maintain the position but Dubbs is very close to passing his half guard.

Dubbs decides to return to a standing position.
Lint misses with a takedown

and Dubbs counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Rick Dubbs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Lint.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dubbs wants to free his trapped foot but Lint is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Dubbs decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dubbs wants to control from the top but Lint keeps moving.

Dubbs stands up and waves to Lint to follow him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dubbs wants to clinch up but Lint keeps it at a distance.

Dubbs shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Lint is working an open guard so Dubbs takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Dubbs darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Dubbs decides to stand up.
Dubbs tries to close the distance and clinch but Lint swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dubbs drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dubbs throwing strikes from guard but Lint blocks nicely.

Lint working for a triangle but Dubbs defends it easily.
Lint is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dubbs is controlling him.

Lint keeping moving, preventing Dubbs from controlling successfully.
Lint trying to keep a closed guard but Dubbs is proving a slippery customer.
Dubbs advances to half guard.

Dubbs is working for a submission of some sort.
Lint tries to get to full guard but Dubbs has control of the leg.
Rick Dubbs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lint throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Lint is staying active underneath Dubbs, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Lint is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dubbs pulls his head out easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dubbs decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

and Dubbs moves into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Dubbs shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Lint is trying to stand back up but Dubbs is controlling him

Dubbs uses his free foot to push down on Lint's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lint.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lint is squirming around, avoiding Dubbs's attempts to control the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lint is in all sorts of trouble here.

Dubbs working for a guillotine from mount but Lint is in no mood to give up.

Dubbs with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Lint is trying to stand.

Dubbs looking to control but Lint is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Dubbs is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lint can do to turn this around?
Lint wants to hold on but Dubbs pushes him away.
Dubbs content just to control the position here.
Lint is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Lint tries for a takedown but Dubbs circles away easily

and Dubbs decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lint's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dubbs trying to control the position from guard on top but Lint is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Justin Lint has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rick Dubbs is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Lint is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dubbs, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
