The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cortez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ramadonvski napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Ramadonvski is trying to control Cortez's posture but Cortez avoids it.
Cortez tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Ramadonvski is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cortez's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The fighters are battling for position here. Ramadonvski manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Cortez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ramadonvski works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ramadonvski has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Cortez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ramadonvski has tightened it up now! Cortez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

After the fight, Dzej Ramadonvski was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
