Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davis Chang (ranked 3197 p4p, 5866 weight class) and Eli Dukes (ranked 352 p4p, 533 weight class). Davis Chang could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eli Dukes's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Davis Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eli Dukes!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chang closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Dukes bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Chang ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Chang is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Dukes bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Chang fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dukes looks to land a left hand but Chang moved out of range nicely.

Chang has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dukes.
Chang shoots for a double leg takedown but Dukes sprawls well. He's pushed Chang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Chang has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Dukes throws a right and a left that both miss.
As Dukes looks to move away, Chang throws a big counter combo but Dukes just gets out of the way.

Chang gets the takedown into side control.

Chang swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dukes is now in Chang's guard. A big mistake from Chang there, giving up the dominant position!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dukes throws an elbow that misses. Chang uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dukes's guard. Nice move by Chang!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dukes is trying to control but can't.

Chang is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dukes has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dukes!
Chang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
