Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Doherty (ranked 2660 p4p, 4029 weight class) and Kam Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Richard Doherty has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Richard Doherty seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kam Kush!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kush tries to clinch up.
Doherty throws a jab when Kush was well out of range.
Kush appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Doherty cracks Kush with a good jab.
It looks like Kam Kush has been cut.
Doherty lands a jab.
Kush looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Doherty fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kush, pushing him back against the cage.
Kush wants to get back to striking at distance but Doherty won't allow it.
Doherty lands a body shot.
Doherty is leaning against Kush and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Kush looks winded!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doherty scores with a shot to the side of Kush's head.
Doherty lands a right hand.
Doherty works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Nice body punch from Doherty.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Doherty.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doherty drops Kush onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kush is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Kush is rocked!

Doherty lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Kush to his knees! Doherty keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Richard Doherty!
