Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Augustus Walls (ranked 2641 p4p, 1747 weight class) and Freaky Igor (ranked 258 p4p, 187 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Augustus Walls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Freaky Igor!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igor fakes the leg kick and cracks Walls in the body.
Walls avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Walls was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Walls on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Walls takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The fighters circling - Walls throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Walls misses with an uppercut. Igor saw that one coming.
Walls misses with a lunging right hand
and Walls takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Augustus Walls has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Igor.
Igor takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Igor takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Walls drives through with a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Igor keeping moving, preventing Walls from controlling successfully.
Walls tries to free his leg and advance position but Igor is retaining full guard.
Igor pulls Walls in close to his closed guard and prevents Walls from doing any damage or advancing position.
Walls trying to control the position from guard on top but Igor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walls connects with a couple of short punches.
Walls working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Walls drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walls jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Walls drops back looking for a leg! Igor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Igor manages to kick Walls off! Walls jumps back into Igor's guard.

Igor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Igor looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Walls forces his way into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Igor can do anything to dispel that myth.
Walls looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Walls has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Igor defend it? Walls steps over the head and cranks it - Igor is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Walls!
