Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Archie Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate MissileFace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MissileFace tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duncan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
MissileFace wants to clinch up but Duncan keeps it at a distance.
Duncan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Duncan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. MissileFace sprawls well initially but Duncan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Duncan wants to take a breather but MissileFace is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MissileFace is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
MissileFace is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if MissileFace can do anything to dispel that myth.
Duncan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
MissileFace has hold of Duncan's hands but Duncan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Duncan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

MissileFace is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Duncan scores with a couple of nice shots.

Duncan is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, MissileFace is hurt! He's hurt bad - Duncan fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save MissileFace from any more punishment! Congratulations to Duncan! Great finish!
