Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimbo Dalton (ranked 2855 p4p, 3201 weight class) and Diego Carpio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Diego Carpio!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carpio throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dalton seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Carpio has taken the fight to the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Carpio content to slow the pace in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Carpio creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dalton's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Carpio takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Carpio smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Carpio is pressed up against the cage. Dalton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carpio down to the mat. Carpio avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Dalton pulls guard.

Dalton is working an open guard so Carpio takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Carpio drives through and clinches with Dalton against the cage.

Dalton is rocked!
Carpio working the clinch nicely. Dalton is working for position but Carpio cracks him with a big knee to the head! Dalton crumples up against the cage and Carpio lands two more shots before the ref can save Dalton! This one is all over!
