Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Figueson Deiveiredo (ranked 754 p4p, 2297 weight class) and Sam Holt (ranked 58 p4p, 165 weight class). Deiveiredo comes to the cage accompanied by Mission Impossible - Adam Clayton. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Figueson Deiveiredo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Holt!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deiveiredo rushes Holt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A short uppercut from Deiveiredo.
Holt tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Deiveiredo gets through Holt's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Holt can't find room to land a body shot as Deiveiredo controls the action.
Deiveiredo lands an elbow inside.
Holt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Deiveiredo tries to throw a body punch but Holt avoids it by throwing Deiveiredo back against the cage.

Deiveiredo lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Sam Holt has been cut.
Deiveiredo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Holt is trying to keep an underhook but Deiveiredo manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Holt kicks off Deiveiredo and gets to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holt misses with a wild combination.
Deiveiredo wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Holt lands with a straight right. Deiveiredo didn't see that one coming.
Deiveiredo shoots in but Holt avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That kick from Deiveiredo tenderised Holt's leg. Holt is trying to keep his angry face on.

Deiveiredo lands a glancing blow to the side of Holt's head.
Deiveiredo closes the distance and clinches up with Holt, looking for a takedown. Deiveiredo pushes Holt against the cage but Holt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Holt looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Holt ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Deiveiredo cracks Holt with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Holt is rocked!
Sam Holt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Deiveiredo clinches up against the cage.
Holt is still on wobbly legs! Can Deiveiredo finish him?
Holt tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Holt seems to have recovered his senses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Deiveiredo.
Holt misses with a punch on the inside.
Deiveiredo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Holt backwards.
A shot in the inside from Deiveiredo.
Deiveiredo is working for takedown but Holt is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Figueson Deiveiredo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Deiveiredo has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and Holt goes down! Deiveiredo pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Deiveiredo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Holt is looking to escape.
Deiveiredo lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Deiveiredo blocks Holt's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Deiveiredo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Holt flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Deiveiredo trying to control but Holt is having none of it.
Holt is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Holt has left one of his arms exposed and Deiveiredo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Holt screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
