Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Mccoy (ranked 5147 p4p, 5451 weight class) and Akimbo Slice (ranked 470 p4p, 484 weight class). Akimbo Slice is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccoy darts in looking for a takedown but Slice gets double underhooks and turns Mccoy into the cage.
Mccoy is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Slice throws a punch but it's blocked by Mccoy.
Mccoy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Slice gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Mccoy works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mccoy pushing down on Slice's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Mccoy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Mccoy is thwarting Slice's attempts to control the position.

Mccoy is keen to just control but Slice is a slippery customer.
Slice looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Slice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mccoy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Slice is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mccoy pulls his head out easily.

Mccoy seems to be working for a kimura but Slice defends the submission attempt.
Slice has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mccoy is working away from the top position though.
Mccoy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Mccoy is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Slice has managed to free his arm - good work.
Mccoy scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Slice wants to control but Mccoy is keeping busy.
Slice tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Slice is looking for a sweep. Mccoy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mccoy seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Slice is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
