Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bacardi Briggs (ranked 2816 p4p, 3390 weight class) and Chick Hamland (ranked 308 p4p, 359 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Briggs might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Stopper by Cutty Ranks. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamland shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Hamland uses his free foot to push down on Briggs's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Briggs.
Hamland cracks Briggs with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
It looks like Bacardi Briggs has been cut.

Hamland takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hamland cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
