Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Arlin (ranked 4335 p4p, 5006 weight class) and Brennan Calhoun (ranked 433 p4p, 464 weight class). Jean Arlin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brennan Calhoun!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Calhoun misses
and Arlin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Arlin scores with a jab to the jaw.
Arlin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Calhoun gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Arlin.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Calhoun cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Calhoun pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Calhoun is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Arlin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Calhoun tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The referee warns Arlin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
