Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danilo Zoric (ranked 1271 p4p, 2522 weight class) and Jimar Kinkead (ranked 154 p4p, 283 weight class). Kinkead comes into a darkened arena with his song building. No Sunshine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Danilo Zoric has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Danilo Zoric seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Danilo Zoric!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimar Kinkead!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinkead shoots in for a takedown but Zoric shows good takedown defense.
Kinkead misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Zoric has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight.
Zoric scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Jimar Kinkead has been cut.
Kinkead misses with a takedown
and Zoric connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Danilo Zoric has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimar Kinkead.
Kinkead misses with a body punch
and Zoric cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kinkead shoots and misses
and Zoric counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jimar Kinkead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zoric tests Kinkead's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kinkead looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zoric is fending him off so far but Kinkead persists. Nope, Zoric circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Zoric wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zoric drops Kinkead with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Kinkead! Zoric dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danilo Zoric!
