Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beta Elit (ranked 4029 p4p, 25308 weight class) and Jan Blachowicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blachowicz has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Jan Blachowicz will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blachowicz shoots for a double leg takedown but Elit sprawls well. He's pushed Blachowicz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Elit throws a big counter combination but Blachowicz scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Blachowicz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Blachowicz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Elit is struggling to control the position.
Elit has Blachowicz pushed against the cage.
Elit lands a shot to the body.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Elit takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Elit tries to stall but Blachowicz uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Beta Elit.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blachowicz.

Beta Elit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Blachowicz.

Elit seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Blachowicz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Elit pinned against the cage. Elit gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As Blachowicz looks to move away, Elit throws a big counter combo but Blachowicz just gets out of the way.

and Elit counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Blachowicz to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Elit!
