Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jax Thomas (ranked 18424 p4p, 23216 weight class) and James Braddock (ranked 556 p4p, 572 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas moves into the clinch successfully.
Thomas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thomas connects with a body shot.
Braddock looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Braddock!
It looks like Jax Thomas has been cut.
Thomas gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Thomas controlling the action here for a moment.
Thomas breaks from the clinch.
Braddock digs a good hook to Thomas's body.
Thomas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Thomas lands with a slapping head kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thomas throws a combination that misses
and Braddock counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Thomas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Braddock lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Thomas at a distance.
Thomas is breathing heavily.
Braddock catches Thomas napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Thomas crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Braddock raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). James Braddock!
