Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tony Cabello!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Braden Meyers!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabello fails with a takedown attempt.
Cabello shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Meyers defends it nicely.
Cabello throws a series of punches but Meyers moves out of range.

Meyers dives in and scores a takedown into Cabello's guard.
Meyers controls from within his opponent's guard.

Cabello manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meyers blocks an uppercut.
Cabello lands a right hand that snaps the head of Meyers backwards.

Cabello breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Meyers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Cabello knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Meyers on the ground.
Meyers sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cabello's guard.

Meyers stands up from half guard.

Meyers scores with a takedown into Cabello's guard.
Meyers's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Cabello is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Meyers is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Meyers passes Cabello's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Meyers stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Cabello is breathing heavily.
Cabello tries for a takedown but Meyers circles away easily

and Meyers counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Meyers.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Cabello. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Meyers tightens his grip and picks Cabello up, before dumping him to the ground. Cabello manages to land in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Meyers drops back looking for a leg! Cabello is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cabello manages to kick Meyers off! Meyers jumps back into Cabello's guard.
Cabello wants to get back to his feet but Meyers passes into half guard.

Meyers has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Meyers jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Cabello manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Cabello takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Meyers in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Cabello is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
