The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Quientes.
Quientes looks for a takedown but Smith sprawls well.
Smith keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ensene Quientes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith connects with the punch.
Smith lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Quientes at a distance.
Quientes slips a jab from Smith.
Smith pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Quientes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Quientes blocks a jab.
Quientes moves out of range as Smith strikes.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Quientes doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.
Quientes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the cage. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Quientes ducks right into an uppercut from Smith.

Quientes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Smith misses with a double jab.
Smith lands an overhand right.
Quientes is rocked!
Quientes throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.
Oh Quientes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith missing with a left hand there. Quientes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Quientes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Quientes seems to have got his legs back now.
BOOM! Smith lands a beautiful left hook that drops Quientes. Quientes tries to recover but Smith is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Quientes lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
