Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave High (ranked 4081 p4p, 4139 weight class) and Collin Donovan (ranked 438 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
High dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Donovan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A lazy left from High finds it's target.
High scores with a jab. Donovan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Donovan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A decent looking cross lands there for High.

Donovan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. High sprawls well initially but Donovan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Donovan thows a huge punch but High dodges it nicely.

Donovan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Donovan wants to stand but High has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Donovan throwing shots but High is blocking nicely.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
High connects with the punch.
High lands with an overhand left.
Jab by High.
High slaps away a takedown attempt from Donovan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Horrible takedown attempt by Donovan or perhaps it was just good defense by High, which made it look bad.

Donovan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
High lands a nice looking body shot.
Donovan misses with a takedown attempt - High sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dave High has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Collin Donovan.
Donovan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Donovan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
High ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Donovan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and High counters with a lovely shot to the body.
High connects with a nice looking jab.
Donovan takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Donovan closes the distance looking to clinch
and High counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Donovan looks winded!
Donovan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Donovan there as he acknowledges the shot.
High dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Donovan tries to clinch but High is having none of it.
High fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Donovan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Donovan tries to close the distance and clinch but High swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Donovan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and High connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Donovan scrambles back to his feet.
High dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheers as High lands an impressive looking overhand right. Donovan doesn't seem phased though.
High lands a glancing blow to the side of Donovan's head.

Donovan is rocked!
Donovan misses with a few strikes there.
Donovan is still on wobbly legs! Can High finish him?
High is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Donovan fails with the takedown
and High counters with a straight right hand.
High fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Donovan on the side of the head.
High cracks Donovan with a hook to the temple - Donovan is on wobbly legs here! High swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Donovan falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! High wins by TKO!
