Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Slugger Dunes (ranked 1558 p4p, 2802 weight class) and Bobby Knuckles (ranked 198 p4p, 323 weight class). Dunes comes to the ring accompanied by The World's Greatest. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunes connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

We've been told by Dunes's head coaches at Champion Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dunes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knuckles.
Some bone on bone action there as Knuckles checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knuckles jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Dunes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Knuckles walks into a straight right hand from Dunes.
Dunes throws a nice outside leg kick.
Dunes is looking to clinch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Knuckles lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dunes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dunes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Knuckles takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Dunes lands a big head kick that sends Knuckles tumbling to the mat! Dunes takes a step backwards and waves Knuckles back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Knuckles is rocked!
Knuckles walks straight into a right hand from Dunes - that's dropped him! Dunes jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Knuckles from any more punishment! Knuckles complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Slugger Dunes!
In his post fight interview, Slugger Dunes started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
