Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucky Lemon (ranked 560 p4p, 135 weight class) and Gillechriosd McCoy (ranked 71 p4p, 4 weight class). McCoy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. YxngB - The Irish kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McCoy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lemon escapes and throws McCoy's legs to the side, diving into side control!
McCoy felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

McCoy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lemon can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
Lemon looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

McCoy has his foot on Lemon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lemon works his way back into a safe position though.
