Glover comes to the cage accompanied by GOAT Power. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ayari's choice of entrance music: Sara Al Zakaria - Ekht Rjal. Mounir Ayari has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Roger Glover's chin.

With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Mounir Ayari!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Glover rushes Ayari and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ayari gets through Glover's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Ayari misses with a punch to the body.
Ayari swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ayari struggles to land a body shot inside as Glover controls his hands.
Nice body punch from Ayari.
Ayari gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Ayari pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ayari scores with a hook.
Glover tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ayari paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Ayari. Those never looked like landing.
Ayari motions for Glover to come forward. Ayari throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ayari slaps away a takedown attempt from Glover, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ayari throws a counter combo.
Ayari looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ayari misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Glover.
Glover shoots in but no luck this time.
We've been told by Glover's head coaches at London MMA Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ayari comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ayari goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A punch lands to the side of Glover 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Ayari counters with a stiff right hand.

A jab from Ayari finds it's way through Glover's defenses.
Oh Glover is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Glover is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Ayari doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Glover crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Glover's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mounir Ayari! Mounir Ayari retains his welterweight title!
