Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Afro Samurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Afro Samurai has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steve Nash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Afro Samurai!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nash shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nash was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Samurai is wriggling around trying to escape.
Samurai holds on for dear life, controlling Nash's posture momentarily.
Samurai is trying desperately to improve position.
Nash throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Samurai because Nash loaded up on that one.
Nash can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Samurai is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nash shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Samurai sprawls well. Samurai wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nash gets slowly back to his feet.
Steve Nash is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Afro Samurai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
