Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Elliot (ranked 3282 p4p, 2300 weight class) and Karl Stienz (ranked 217 p4p, 166 weight class). The key to victory for Tyler Elliot has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Elliot rushes Stienz and presses him up against the cage.
Stienz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Stienz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Elliot has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Stienz drives through with a takedown into Elliot's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Stienz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Elliot walks away with a smile on his face. Stienz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tyler Elliot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karl Stienz.

Elliot closes the distance and clinches.

Elliot has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Stienz regains guard immediately.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Stienz manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Stienz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Elliot swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stienz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Elliot looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Elliot looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Elliot!
