Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daud Yordan (ranked 480 p4p, 1524 weight class) and Jonathas Araujo (ranked 49 p4p, 132 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daud Yordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonathas Araujo!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yordan connects with a high kick.

It looks like Jonathas Araujo has been cut.
Araujo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Yordan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Araujo. That did some damage!
A head kick misses from Yordan.
Yordan cracks Araujo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Araujo misses with a takedown attempt - Yordan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Yordan clobbers Araujo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Yordan leaves Araujo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Yordan feinted with a counter takedown.
Araujo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Yordan with a nice calf kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yordan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Araujo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Araujo looks to throw the jab but Yordan is out of range.
Yordan tries a head kick but it misses.

Yordan lands with a cross.
Yordan lands a right hook to the body.
Yordan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Araujo momentarily.
Araujo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yordan's waist but Yordan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Araujo off to one side.
Daud Yordan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonathas Araujo.
Yordan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Araujo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Araujo shoots in and drives through. Yordan sprawls well.
Araujo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yordan.
Araujo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Yordan is fending him off so far but Araujo persists. Nope, Yordan circles away and we're back to standing.
Yordan explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Araujo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Yordan throws a head kick that half lands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yordan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Araujo tries to keep at a distance but Yordan has taken the fight into the clinch.
Araujo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Yordan.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Yordan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Yordan stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Yordan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Araujo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A thudding body kick lands there by Yordan!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Araujo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Daud Yordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Araujo looks to land a right hand but Yordan moved out of range.
Yordan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Araujo at a distance.
Araujo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Yordan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Araujo.
Araujo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yordan to score with a decent uppercut.

Araujo is rocked!
Araujo gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Yordan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daud Yordan!
Daud Yordan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
