Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mano Paquiao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paquiao ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Paquiao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Foster moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Paquiao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Paquiao does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Paquiao scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Foster rushes Paquiao and presses him up against the cage.

Foster's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Foster manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Paquiao has had enough of the clinch but Foster keeps him there for the moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Foster counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Foster has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Paquiao lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Foster can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Paquiao and Foster drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Paquiao.
