Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lincoln Hamilton!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Toney counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hamilton throws a combination that misses
enabling Toney to counter with a crisp jab.
Hamilton swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Toney counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hamilton throws a left and a right that both miss
and Toney counters with a stiff right hand.
Hamilton throws a series of punches but Toney moves out of range.
Hamilton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Toney connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Toney lands a jab-cross combination.
Toney has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rollins Fitness in the buildup to the fight.
Toney cracks Hamilton with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Hamilton takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hamilton takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hamilton throws a lazy uppercut
and Toney counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Toney scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Hamilton to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
Nice defenses there by Toney.
Toney scores with a sloppy right hand. Hamilton should have avoided that one.
Toney fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hamilton on the side of the head.

Hamilton might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

James Toney is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hamilton tries to bum rush Toney with a series of wild strikes but Toney uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hamilton looks to land a combination but Toney avoids it well.
Lincoln Hamilton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Toney is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hamilton throws a poor cross that misses
letting Toney counter with a right hand.

James Toney should take that round, based on the knockdown.

Hamilton falls off balance throwing a combination
and Toney counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hamilton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Toney throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hamilton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and as Hamilton takes a moment to reset, Toney counters with a massive combo! Right, left, right! Hamilton goes down! He's in big trouble, can he recover? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10. He's out! Toney is your winner!
